Furthermore, the ROK government seeks to ensure appropriate conditions to carry out
integrated defense operations by comprehensively reflecting changes in the security environment
as well as issues raised during various exercises and training. To do so, the ROK government has
been amending the United Defense Act and the enforcement ordinance of the ACT, directives
on integrated defense, and detailed implementation guidelines.
