Enhancing partnership between Korea-U.S. corps of engineers

On April 17, the Korea-U.S. combined engineer tactical discussion was held by the Korea Army Engineer School to invigorate mutual interchange between Korea and the U.S. engineers.

The discussion, which came eight years after the last one in 2006, was a good opportunity to develop both countries’ engineering strategy and concept of warfighting.

Starting with introduction of Korean military engineers with revolution of the U.S. corps of engineers, the tactical discussion provided education regarding high-tech equipment and a program for strengthening the partnership between engineering officers, and helping the two armies form an understanding and enhance alliance between Korean engineering officers.
