The MND is striving to cultivate creative military experts well versed in specialized military knowledge. Throughout the national Defense training and education system, the MND is increasing its efforts to train strong warriors and, in turn, strong military by simulating realistic combat situations to ensure our Armed Forces is an unstoppable force against any enemy.

※ Officers for special MOS (JAG, surgeons, veterinarian, chaplains, interpreters, communications, army band, etc.) :
Seven to nine weeks of training, three-year service period.

※ Military Education: Divided into candidate training that transforms civilians into officers and NCOs, and refreshment training that develops servicemen and women’s capacity to perform their military duties.

※ Human Resources Development: Divided into professional military education and capability development education.
Professional military education cultivates military experts capable of spearheading the efforts to establish a technologically intensive military structure, and capability improvement education focuses on increasing the values of officers in their respective areas of expertise, interest and potential.

※ Unit Training: Divided into individual training and group training aimed at fostering combat capabilities.; Development of IT-based scientific training systems to maximize the integrated capabilities of various components on the battlefield.
