U.S. 501 Military Intelligence Brigade awarded the Minister of MND unit citation

The U.S. 501 Military Intelligence Brigade was awarded the Minister of National Defense unit citation for contributing to establishment of real-time combined information operations readiness through operating close Korea-U.S. combined intelligence assets on Armed Forces Day, October 1.

The unit has been continuously supporting the Korean Army for the improvement of the information system since June 25, 1951. They have made a great contribution to Korea-U.S. combined information system development by providing information for Korean and U.S. units during various combined training events such as KR·UFG and cooperating joint and combined education at the Army intelligence school.

In the meantime, the soldiers have been doing things to serve the public at neighboring social welfare organizations. Recently, they received a letter of appreciation from the governor of Ganghwa-gun for maintaining roads in Goryeosan, Ganghwado.
