Experiencing the power of advanced Korean equipment – K1A1 tank and K9 self-propelled gun

A Bangladeshi military delegation consisting of six military working groups including General Iqbal Korim Bhuiyan visited the 30th Division on September 23.

This visit to Korea was a good opportunity to promote national defense and defense cooperation between Korea and Bangladesh as well as to introduce our army’s superior fighting force.

The delegation was moved to admiration by the superiority of the Korean military equipment, reported the general status of the unit and listened to explanations of the K1A1 tank, K9 self-propelled gun, K10 ammunition carrier, 30mm self-antiaircraft gun (Biho), etc. General Bhuiyan in particular showed interest in our most capable K9 and K10, and boarded them himself.

“I have been well aware of the superiority of Korean equipment, but now I can actually feel the power as I see and board them myself,” said the general.

The unit has greatly served as an honorary ambassador to introduce the Korean mechanized unit’s equipment and promote the superiority of the Korean Army abroad for many international military figures and senior officials. Also during this year, the top officials and delegations from Iraq, UAE, China, Peru and Colombia saw the exemplary model of the future military unit equipped with highly advanced artillery.
