ADMM-Plus triggers ROK-Indonesia Defense Ministers meeting

—Reaffirmation of future-oriented national defense and defense industrial cooperation as a special strategic partner—

Defense Minister Lee Jong-sup, who is in Siem Reap, Cambodia, for the 9th ASEAN Military Ministers' Meeting (ADMM-Plus), met with Indonesian Defense Minister Pravowo Subianto on November 22 (Tue) to discuss ways for the two nations to cooperate in national defense and the defense industry.

“We value Indonesia as a major partner in defense cooperation,” Minister Lee stated. He also said that enhancing Indonesia's defense capability through collaboration in the defense industry between the two nations would not only strengthen bilateral relations based on shared values, but also contribute to peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
