Cheonho Battalion, Army capital mechanized infantry division, held its first maneuver using K21 infantry fighting armored vehicles on the level of force integration standard.

The battalion conducted its fighting ability inspection, on July 10, during combat firing practice and maneuvers training for teams by echelon and Pavlovian combat capabilities.

With zeroing and proofing firing in accordance with the firing level and combat firing between platoons, they developed combat commanding ability by echelon and mastered their duties/immediate action ability by situation. As becoming skillful in close combat skills especially through firing and tactical maneuvers linked firing with maneuvers, they could build up capabilities to minimize damage caused by enemies’ attacks and immediately fire back at them.

Armored vehicles dashed out with a movement order from the company commander, trailing a cloud of dust, and fired the 40mm main gun and machine gun according to the fire command. Followed by dismounted action from the division commander, the combat military force got off rapidly and destroyed enemy forces.

“Through this training, we could check our teamwork ability between fire direction from commander and crews,” said a unit official.
