Korean and British Vice Ministers of National Defense confirm their will to cooperate in the fight against Ebola

Korean and British Vice Ministers of defense confirmed their will to cooperate in the fight against the Ebola virus, which the global society has been making efforts to deal with. Baek Seung-Joo, Vice Minister of National Defense had a conversation with John Astor, the UK’s parliamentary undersecretary, by phone on November 5 at the request of Britain’s Ministry of Defense. During the conversation, the UK promised to provide safety measures as well as various support for a Korean advance medical party that will be dispatched to the UK and Sierra Leone.

Britain’s parliamentary undersecretary said, “In time of emergency, we’ll spare no effort, offering the same evacuation, medicine and treatment that the British nationals receive.”
