NDU signs MOU for exchange and cooperation with Italian strategic institute

Overseas exchange and cooperation that the National Defense University has made is growing. Research Institute for National Security Affairs (RINSA) signed an MOU for exchange and cooperation with the Military Centre for Strategic Studies (CeMiSS) in Italy on July 22. At this agreement ceremony held in the seminar room of NDU where both institutes agreed to exchange and cooperate with each other, 20 relevant officials from both countries including Major General Nicola Gelao, the chief of CeMiSS and Director-General Lee Seok-soo attended.

Both are planning to cooperate for security issues of Korea and Italy as well as to maintain a close cooperative relationship for activation of international discussion about the Korean peninsula and Asia-Pacific region. In particular, they are going to make an effort for research information exchange that both institutes are conducting, mutual invitation and joint research for researcher exchange, research support, academic conference and seminars.
