Soldiers from Communications Company, Dongmyeong unit, who are active in PKO missions in Lebanon presented the Korean branch of the UNHCR with an endowment of 1,100 dollars on April 4. 

Fifteen of them have seen the very difficult life of refugees during their dispatch mission in Lebanon. Searching for a way to help the refugees, they agreed on a donation to the UNHCR. Begun as the idea of Corporal Lee Do-young last January, they had a collection box in an orderly room and continued making voluntary donations. And week before the shift with the 16th, they presented the endowment they have collected so far. 

“I’ve always wanted to help the refugees who earn a meager living in a foreign land. I could feel the preciousness of my country through this dispatch,” said Captain Huh Kwang-seon, the communications company commander, who participated in making the donation.
