An invitation to the Sacheon Airshow that covers the autumn sky

‘2016 Sacheon Airshow with the Air Force (hereinafter referred to as Sacheon Airshow)’ is being held at Sacheon Airfield in Sacheon, Gyeongsangnam-do, from upcoming October 20 to 23, under the joint sponsorship of the Korea Air Force, Gyeongsangnam-do and Sacheon-si, to promote an understanding of aerospace power and the establishment of a reliable Air Force model.

Starting with the Black Eagles Airshow, this Sacheon Airshow features a range of programs including the opening ceremonies, a special performance, a promotion booth for the Air Force, drone contest, exhibition of aircraft and arms, aircraft flight experience, etc. In particular, for the opening ceremony, the Air Force will promote the image of an Air Force with a firm military readiness posture and strong power through a revival flight of the communist guerrillas suppression operation that penetrated Haeinsa, flight demonstration of the Buhwalho, Black Eagles airshow, etc.

As well, there will be an academic conference during the Airshow period with the theme of ‘Direction for Civil-Military Cooperation for Aerospace Power Development.’ For the 1st civil-military aerospace power development seminar being held on October 21, there will be topic presentations and in-depth discussion for the promotion of aerospace power and development of the related industries.
