Reporters in South Sudan enthusiastic about training on promotion!

The Hanbit unit, which has been carrying out reconstruction support and humanitarian activities at the Bor base of the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) got a good response from local newsmen when it taught them some advanced techniques for promotion.

The Hanbit unit has been providing media education to the locals since last year. 11 local South Sudanese reporters participated in the education this year, which began on the 16th of August, and received professional and well-structured training.

Lessons focused mainly on photography and image editing taking account of the survey conducted in the last training. In particular, the unit helped the trainees to increase their practical ability, providing training focused on the principles of photography as well as the characteristics of news photos, understanding news images and editing.
