Introducing Korean culture, Korean food experiences, Samulnori performance, etc, to Lebanon

Dongmyeong unit, which has been successfully conducting peacekeeping operation (PKO) missions in Lebanon, managed an invitational event for around 100 students and teachers of Cadmus school within the operational area on November 4.

he event consisted of demonstrations of Teukgong Moosool (Korean Special Forces Combat martial arts) , friendly futsal, basketball and table tennis matches, Korean food experience, Samulnori performance and more, all of which helped build a good feeling with local students and teachers. Significantly, 20 members of Korea-Lebanon Mashallah (KLM), native supporters for Dongmyeong unit added meaning to the event by participating as volunteer personnel.

Jean Eunice, Cadmus school principal, said, “This event was an opportunity for students to understand Korea and Korean culture, as well as to feel closer to and more friendly with the unit.”
