[Jeju Naval Base] Future soldiers who will protect our homeland, “Be loyal!”

With the Navy organization day just four days away, Jeju naval base held an unit and vessel opening event around the Jeju Civilian-Military Combined Port from November 7 to 8. Jeju base arranged various programs for this event including naval vessel opening, demonstration of marine amphibious assault landing vehicle operation, special equipment experiences of ship salvage unit and explosive ordnance disposal unit.

On the 7th day, a destroyer, Gang Gam Chan Ham (DDH-Ⅱ) was opened to the public, followed by Gang Gam Chan Ham, Aegis destroyer (DDG), King Sejong the Great, and another destroyer (DDH-I), King Gwanggaeto the Great. Citizens could see our reliable naval power that protects our seas, and look around the vessels.

And as a special experiential activity for children, the base provided a 3D puzzle of Aegis.
