The Korea-U.S.-Japan Defense Tri-lateral Talks to be held in Seoul on Dec. 16, to discuss countermeasures against North Korean nuclear and missile threats

The Ministry of National Defense announced that “We are holding the ’Korea-U.S.-Japan Defense Tri-lateral Talks (DTT)’ in Seoul on December 16“. The talks will be attended by Deputy Minister for National Defense Policy at the Ministry of National Defense Ryu Je-seung, U.S. Assistant Secretary of Defense for Asian and Pacific Security Affairs Kelly Magsamen and Director General of the Bureau of Defense Policy, Ministry of Defense Japan Sato Maeda as representatives, as well as o major national defense diplomacy officials from Korea, the U.S. and Japan. The parties will discuss cooperative plans to counter the North Korean nuclear and missile threats, as well as strategy for military exchange and cooperation among the three nations.
