Republic of Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff find suspected North Korean drone

Regarding the drone (pictured above) that was recently found on a mountain in Inje, Gangwon Province in the morning of June 9, the Joint Chiefs of Staff have announced that its size and shape are similar to that of another drone from North Korea, found near Baengnyeongdo Island in 2014.

The source from the Joint Chiefs of Staff said, “The drone is 1.8m in length and 2.4m in width. It is similar to the other drone in size and shape, and was found near Baengnyeongdo on March 30, 2014." The Joint Chiefs of Staff found that a camera was attached to it, and reported that the drone found in Baengnyeongdo was also equipped with a camera and thus an analysis is underway to determine whether they are the same kind of camera. They also added that it would take about ten days for analysis to be finished.
