Minister of National Defense holds special lecture

 

On the morning of November 15, Minister of National Defense Suh Wook held a special lecture, targeting about 200 trainees of the security program of the Korea National Defense University (KNDU), at the convention center of KNDU in Nonsan, Chungcheongnam-do.

 

This event was held in full compliance with COVID-19 quarantine rules.

 

At the lecture, Suh introduced all matters related to the national defense policy, including the objectives and main points of defense management. Significantly, he explained the military's efforts to build its defense strength to lead the future and its accomplishments.

 

“Private-public-military cooperation and communication are very important for national security,” Suh said, stressing “we should concentrate our wisdom and willingness for ‘strong security, proud military, cooperative defense,’ with a mindset of people who cooperate in harmony to achieve great work.” After the lecture, Suh held a gathering for the student officers in the master’s degree program to encourage them.
