Love of country through military experience

Taegeuk artillery battalion, 6th artillery brigade, hosted a military experience event for love of country for 41 volunteers including 1.5 and 3rd generation Koreans abroad who participated in the second Korean Young Leaders‘ International Meeting from September 24 to 25.

The event was to promote the love of country in young leaders‘ minds from all over the world and allow them to experience our army's status, offering a powerful national defense.

It progressed in order of introduction of the unit and equipment; introduction and boarding of self-propelled artillery, K55A1, and demonstration of gunshot; security tour and special lecture; and experience of security operations.

“I could feel the reality of the Korean Army’s powerful defense as I see the world-class Korean artillery for myself. I am proud of my home country, Korea,” said overseas Koreans watching the gunshot demonstration.
